Harmony of Views of Dzogchen, Middle Way, and Mahamudra (Book)

There are two ways to approach the teachings on emptiness: one can study the vast Prajnaparamita sutras and commentaries until one has grasped this intellectually or one can look directly at mind in one's meditation and perceive its emptiness.

The Harmony of Views  contains three full-length commentaries by Thrangu Rinpoche on the nature of mind from three different spiritual songs (dohas) of three traditions: one from the Geluga master Changka Dolpay Dorje, one from the great Nyingma master Ji Mipham, and one from the well-known Kagyu master Chogyam Trungpa. Is able to show how these are very harmonious with one another.

In the hundreds of teachings of Thrangu Rinpoche I have heard or read, Rinpoche has never said that a particular lineage or sect or Buddhist teaching from another country was wrong, but rather he encouraged his students to embrace all the Buddha’s teachings and realize that, of course, there will be differences in understanding between them because persons have different backgrounds and experiences.
