Jewel Ornament of Liberation

One of the shining jewels of the Kagyu Lineage is Gampopa (1079-1153) who is well-known for merging the Dharma the Kadampa lineage of Atisha with the Mahamudra lineage that he received from his root guru Milarepa. The Jewel Ornament of Liberation is a an extensive set of teachings explaining a large number of Buddhist concepts from the sutra path to the Mahamudra Mahamudra of examining the mind directly.

Thrangu Rinpoche in this excellent commentary of the The Jewel Ornament has covered the entire text carefully but in a manner that it does not become a long list of categories of items but rather an explanations of how these facts and concepts relate to ordinary Buddhist practice and living.
