This is an amazing book because Mingyur Rinpoche a head of an important monastery with dozens of attendants and hundreds of monk attending to his every need, one day put on regular clothes and spent the next several years traveling unrecognized as an ordinary person through India. The book is the inner dialog that we all have, and he wrote these thoughts down honestly and precisely and kept showing him some Buddhist concept or teaching. The book reads like an exciting novel rather than a formal Buddhist teaching.
