The Fourth Volume of the Treasury of Knowledge comprises ten chapters which cover a variety of topics about the Buddha and the transmission of Buddhism. It begins in India and covers the Buddha’s life and then it goes to the transmission of Buddhism to Tibet. Covered after that are the three types of vows and samaya, an expanded explanation of the study of the five worldly knowledges such as astrology and poetry. Then there is a far-reaching discussion of the higher trainings in meditation.
